The Mandalorian Season 2 Begins Streaming October 30th on Disney Plus
The anticipation is building ahead of the release of the second season of The Mandalorian, Disney Plus's hit Star Wars show. Today, Disney Plus tweeted the premier date for the initial new episodes of season 2, which will begin streaming October 30th.
The show debuted with Disney Plus's release in November of 2019, and was easily the most popular show that rolled out with Disney's new streaming service. The second season has been in production ever since, and we finally have our release date.
The second season will reportedly feature special guests as some of your favorite characters in the Star Wars Universe including Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, and Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze. Of course, the iconic Baby Yoda is expected to return for season 2 as well.
Legends Jon Favreau, Carl Weathers, Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Deborah Chow (who will direct the Obi-Wan Disney Plus series), Bryce Dallas Howard, and Taika Waititi will all direct episodes of season 2.
Season 1 of The Mandalorian is now streaming on Disney Plus, and we'll see you on October 30th for the beginning of The Mandalorian Season 2 binge!
