Having always been told that Via Napoli at Epcot has the best pizza on property, I finally decided to give it a try to answer ever popular question of "Is it worth it?"
Garlic Focaccia Bread Basket
Although your meal includes complimentary bread, we opted to order the garlic focaccia bread basket for an extra $4.55. The bread is baked in-house and comes topped with garlic, oregano, & olive oil and is delicious.
Prosciutto e Melone (Gluten Free)
We decided to order an appetizer to share and the prosciutto & melon with arugula is both gluten free and incredibly refreshing for Joe and I to split!
Fusilli Bianchi (Gluten Free)
Since Joe couldn't enjoy any of the pizza, we ordered him a gluten free pasta dish that looked and tasted amazing. It's fusilli corn pasta, prosciutto, mushrooms, your choice of chicken or shrimp, in a cream sauce and was packed with flavor!
San Gennaro (left) & Margherita (right) 10" Pizzas
Margherita: tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil - $18
San Gennaro: white pizza (mozzarella & fontina cheeses) with sweet Italian sausage, cherry peppers, onions, and tomato - $21
I'm just gonna say it, the pizzas here are AMAZING! Everything is so fresh and the dough is incredible! They use flour from Italy and water from a spring in Pennsylvania, which makes them taste super authentic!
I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised that Via Napoli was not over hyped! The pizzas were incredible - easily the best on property - and even the allergy friendly options tasted amazing. The only downside is that it definitely is a bit on the pricier side of the Disney food spectrum, but still worth it for a delicious meal! Have you ever been? If so, what do you think?
