Time to get festive! Colton, Joe, and I attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time this year and got to try a ton of treats while we were there!
Vanellope Éclair at Gaston's Tavern | éclair with fruity cereal filling and topped with chocolate piece
This éclair was honestly one of the best treats we tried at the Christmas Party! The filling was really good and you can't go wrong with fruity cereal!
Feliz Navidad Nachos at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe | red & green tortilla chips topped with turkey chili and queso sauce
Three Caballeros Spiced Chocolate Yule Cake (Gluten Friendly) at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe | chocolate mousse with flourless chocolate cake topped with spiced chocolate ganache, powdered sugar, and white chocolate piece
As far as gluten free eats go, the yule cake is pretty good! It has a little bit of spice from the cinnamon that's mixed in the chocolate which makes it not overly sweet.
Churro Bites with Red & Green Sugar at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe | served with chocolate dipping sauce
Walt Disney World churros never really bring the sauce, but these were a pleasant surprise! The red & green sugar that's on these churro bites made them even sweeter and I loved them!
Red Velvet Zero Waffles at Sleepy Hollow | red velvet waffles with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and holiday sprinkles
Waffles and ice cream is really hard not to love and if it wasn't for the waffles being slightly burnt this would be fire!
Sandy Claws Dessert at Sleepy Hollow | toy sack cake pop wrapped in fondant with white chocolate Sandy Claws piece
This was easily one of the most unique cake pops I've ever tried and it's made of ... fruitcake! Not the most glorious Christmas treat around, but still tasted pretty decent!
Scrooge McDuck Eggnog Custard at Storybook Treats (Gluten Friendly) | eggnog custard topped with spiced chocolate cake meringue and a gold foil chocolate Scrooge McDuck coin
To be completely honest, this was another one of the best treats we tried and Joe (our resident gluten free jamboy) said this was his favorite! The custard could have tasted a little bit more like eggnog, but other than that the texture of the custard and cake bits together was awesome!
Peppermint Soft-Serve at Storybook Treats
As excited as I was for this one, I regret to inform you that it really flopped. The peppermint flavor was barely present which made it end up tasting more like just regular vanilla soft-serve.

Even though there are still a few treats that we didn't get a chance to try at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year, we were able to sample all of the ones that we were most excited for! All in all there was obviously a whole lot of sweet options to try, but there wasn't anything that was really all that amazing. The entertainment at the Christmas parties will always be the star of the show, but I can only hope that the food eventually catches up!
