You heard me right- you can literally eat for free in WDW now. We haven't covered the dining plan since it came back this year, but we can tell you that we stand by what we've always said- plan out your meals and use every. single. credit. on the most expensive items you can and you'll get your moneys worth! The dining plan is all about strategy and picking the plan you know your family will use! So do your research on the different ways you can dine in WDW (and check out our favorite Quick Service, Table Service, and Character Dining  restaurants blogs) and set your family up to be well fed!!

+ This year with the purchase of specific vacation packages through a Walt Disney World Travel Agent, you can book a hotel and get the dining plan for free! Just talk to an agent and book accordingly to get the dining plan for free and really master the art of a WDW vacay.

Okay, so this isn't in Walt Disney World but we are SUPER excited about this one. We've been getting teasers all year so far on projects like the Beyond Big Thunder Mountain Expansion at Magic Kingdon and the Dinoland retheme to the Central Americas at Animal Kingdom, but we are gearing up for D23 Expo from August 9th-11th to see what other big projects they'll be announcing. With big news coming nearly weekly at this point from the teams building out new Park projects, we're almost expecting something huge from D23 to really give us conrete timelines for these expansions! I am on the edge of my seat about the possibility of a villains themed land in the Magic Kingdom, so best believe I will be waiting with bated breath.

On June 17th, Test Track Presented by Chevrolet has gone under for a lengthy refurbishment and re-imagining! We have yet to get many details for this one beyond the likely chance it will be more similar to its predecessor World of Motion. We're honestly excited to see this one go in for a tune up, because it's just not in the shape it used to be! With the Chevrolet sponsorship renewed, there's no surprise that they wanted to update the ride to feel more current- and we're definitely excited to see it come together, so if you're visiting EPCOT this summer, make sure you know this one is behind walls!

We got dates for EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival 2024!! F&W is going on from August 29th to Nov. 23rd. The dates are significantly cut down from the last couple years, but honestly we're not mad about it! The days when EPCOT has no festival are some of the nicest because it just feels overall way less crowded! This is a great time to enjoy Guardians, Luminous (which we 10/10 recommend), and everything else about EPCOT without the festival crowd level.

EPCOT has Test Track closing as mentioned above, but they also have a new gathering space open! CommuniCore Hall has opened its doors and is set to include to changing and evolving exhibits that go hand in hand with EPCOT's different festivals! Currently, it's pretty much a very well air conditioned hallway. So if you really need a beat from the heat - go see it, but otherwise, we'll be giving this one a more solid review when a festival starts and we can see what it's really made of. Right now, we're pretty divided on why it took so long to give us something that resembles an airport terminal. BUT! We are witholding further judgement until a festival brings an exhibit!!

Outside this summer is a new stage show featuring Mirabel and Bruno from Encanto aptly named Celebraćion Encanto. This show happens during the day time from about 9:45- 3:45 and tbh.... we loved this. This show is SO fun and includes Encanto trivia and a bilingual group of performers that we really enjoyed being with!!! There is not, like, a ton of shade, but we have to admit this show got us dancing and grooving and really getting into it.

After the Encanto crew goes back to the casita for the evening, there is a fun little band that comes out to play spanish music in the evening and we enjoyed eating our Arepas from the Festival Favorites Booth (that's a permanent spot in this area) while we listened to the band play!

Inside a new area adjacent to both the EPCOT airport terminal and the stage, will be Mickey and Friends, a permanent meeting space for Meeting and Greeting your favorite Fab 5 Characters.

After what has felt like 84 years, we're gearing up to get some reopening news about Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Last year, this popular coaster underwent a long refurbishment, but shortly after opening it was seeing technical difficulties again! We have heard long swirling rumors of a reskin or an update regarding theming because of Aerosmith contracts, popularity, and other factors, but the only thing we really know is that its set to reopen on it's 25th birthday, July 27th!

WE HAVE A CONFIRMED DATE! THE BEARS WILL BE BACK ON JULY 17th!! Shortly after Tiana's Bayou Adventure Opens (see below!). The Country Bears have been hard at work rehearsing a brand new show of all of your Disney favorites. As much as we were sad to let go of the cringey and incredible previous show, this will be a happy and welcome change to the newly revitalized Frontierland Area! We're very much looking forward to seeing what the Imagineers have put together with this one and cannot wait for that opening, but until then you can catch us enjoying the hoe down with the bears and country Chip 'n' Dale in the Frontier Streets.

This is one we're looking forward to on both coasts! Our girl's ride is almost done!!! With Imagineers in the park nearly every week day doing ride testing and other final touches, we know this one is coming soon! This ride was just announced to open June 28th (close to when we predicted) with AP previews in early June! With that summer heat, we know people visiting Florida will find it irrisistable to get in line for a nearly brand new ride and cool off in the water. We could not be more excited to see Tiana's ride make her debut.
