Today we're at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for brunch at Grand Floridian Cafe. They offer a brunch menu every day from 7:30AM - 2PM, so you have the option between both breakfast and lunch items no matter what time you dine!

Brioche French Toast

Entree Enhancement: Granola, Lemon Curd, Blueberries (add-on for Lex's french toast)

Starting off with Lex's entree of choice: the brioche french toast. Not only is Grand Floridian Cafe her absolute favorite breakfast spot on property, but she also orders this every time she comes! The french toast is topped with powdered sugar & Madagascar vanilla bean butter and is served with blueberry sauce and your choice of bacon or sausage. She also added an entree enhancement that was a trio of granola, lemon curd, and blueberries, all of which looked incredible. The combination of textures and flavors from all of the toppings was out of this world and definitely a must-try when you dine here!

Smoked Salmon

Smoked Salmon (cont.)

I decided to go with a classic: the smoked salmon. It's served with all of the traditional lox & bagels accompaniments and is probably my favorite item on the menu!

Gluten Free Eggs Benedict

Joe decided to try something he had never tried from Grand Floridian Cafe before and ordered the gluten free eggs benedict. This is pretty huge because a lot of times when you order gluten free eggs benedict they replace the english muffin with gluten free toast, but they actually had gluten free english muffins! The eggs benedict was served alongside a small mixed greens salad and although the eggs weren't as runny as they could be, he really enjoyed his meal!

Although I've never been a huge fan of Grand Floridian Cafe, I have to admit that today's breakfast was pretty good and it definitely is a dining location that's loved by many... especially Lex. They add a nice twist to some classic dishes and have an amazing selection on their allergy menu so all in all, well worth the visit!
